After you’ve made sure that everyone is okay, take pictures of the accident scene, the vehicles involved in the accident and the damages. While you’re at it, if another vehicle is involved in the accident, get the other driver’s name and surname, Identity Number, physical address and insurance information. You should also take down their registration number and their vehicle make. Do not admit guilt or agree to any settlement terms.

If the damage happens to be severe, do not attempt to drive or even start your taxi as this could result in more damages. It’s also important that you report the case to the police within 24 hours and get a copy of the Police Report or case number as this will be required when you submit your claim.
